The side of Ronald Reagan we did not see in the media...I wonder why, to me this seems to be one of his greatest legacies!

  2. Fred Kohn says:

I think that Patti Davis is probably the best writer among the Reagan children (although I haven't read Maureen Reagan's memoirs yet). I couldn't give this book as high a rating as The Long Goodbye because I am an infidel and most of the religious stuff in this book was lost on me.

  3. Mona Randall says:

It’s a beautifully written story by a daughter about her famous father and much of what he taught her about God and inadvertently himself. It is a book that I will keep close, it has so much to reveal in its re-reading.

  4. Annburnett says:

This was a wonderful book about a daughter's relationship with her father. It is the story of living each day and remembering what is important.

  5. Becky says:

Finished this book in about two hours, and cried almost the whole time. Beautifully written account of Ronald Reagan, not as a politician but as a father and an incredible man of great faith. I would absolutely recommend this to ANYONE. GREAT BOOK!

  6. Erin says:

Just re-read this book that my Mom bought me 20 years ago. I wanted to give it 3 1/2 stars. Some parts are simplistic, some are powerful. But it is lovely tribute from a daughter to her father, with whom she did not always have the best relationship.

  7. Jenalyn says:

I like Ronald Reagan and I thought I'd really like this book, but I was left disappointed. It wasn't what I thought it would be. (how profound!)

  8. Valerie says:

I loved this book when I read it back in 1995 when it came out. Too bad it doesn't seem to be in print anymore. Wonderful, feel good, sentiment.

  9. Susanna says:

I enjoyed this book because Reagan reminded me so much of my grandfather. What Patti Davis said and felt was also the way I felt.

  10. Rachel says:

It was really cool reading about her growing up years with her father, and his faith that he passed onto them
