Great book The writing style of Rebeccah deservesthan five stars, however, I gave only 4 stars because the first 10% and the last 10% of the book disappointed me so much I loved and enjoyed the middle part, the other 70 80% of the book, but me being a blood phobic made me several times sick in the end Which made me truly sad because otherwise this book is so amazing and very well written, with beautiful dynamics of the characters I recommend to everyone who isn t scared from dark fantas Great book The writing style of Rebeccah deservesthan five stars, however, I gave only 4 stars because the first 10% and the last 10% of the book disappointed me so much I loved and enjoyed the middle part, the other 70 80% of the book, but me being a blood phobic made me several times sick in the end Which made me truly sad because otherwise this book is so amazing and very well written, with beautiful dynamics of the characters I recommend to everyone who isn t scared from dark fantasy and enjoys beautiful prose and well written characters, however I highly recommend for the older audience, over 17 18 years old at least, but this is just my opinion

Three words Bring On The Fan Art Ok, I know that was actually five words, but I found myself thinking them so many times as I read through this Beauty and the Beast retelling.Right off the bat, I was captivated by the sparkling visual descriptions I can t remember the last time I read a book that plunged me so completely into another world The smells, the sights, and the sounds all felt so real, it was like watching a movie Or better yet, like falling into rich, fairytale paintings. The des Three words Bring On The Fan Art Ok, I know that was actually five words, but I found myself thinking them so many times as I read through this Beauty and the Beast retelling.Right off the bat, I was captivated by the sparkling visual descriptions I can t remember the last time I read a book that plunged me so completely into another world The smells, the sights, and the sounds all felt so real, it was like watching a movie Or better yet, like falling into rich, fairytale paintings. The descriptions in this book are GORGEOUS.But don t let the delicious foods, sparkly descriptions, and fairy magic fool you This book is PACKED with action From the flowery cover, I was definitely expecting a romance and wasn t disappointed there , but I had no idea I was stepping into such a fast paced, heart racing adventure From mischievous, dark fairies to bloodthirsty Grimbeasts from earthquakes to car chases there was literally never a dull moment in the entire book While I appreciated being kept on the edge of my seat, I have to admit that I do wish there had been just a fewcalm scenes to let me catch my breath and to let the romance develop on a deeper level. My favorite part about the book was definitely the world building Sometimes I found the magic system confusing, and with an enchanted castle that was constantly changing, I found myself as confused as Killian a lot of the time But the various kingdoms with all their different customs, foods, and fashions were beautifully thought out and masterfully written I especially loved the early 1900 s feel, with the clothing and old automobiles, etc The Russian inspired costumes and descriptions of Eskor made me feel like I was plunged into the Dreamworks telling of Anastasia a favorite of mine I loved it I can t wait to readfrom this author

For full transparency, I do consider the author a friend of mine, but I did buy this book on my own.First of all, the cover is so perfect for this book It really gives off the perfect vibes, it s beautiful and magical and romantic and just so pretty handsome The book was a really fun read, and I liked seeing the parallels and differences between this story and the original Beauty at the Beast It was really interesting to see the way the author incorporated so many familiar pieces of the origi For full transparency, I do consider the author a friend of mine, but I did buy this book on my own.First of all, the cover is so perfect for this book It really gives off the perfect vibes, it s beautiful and magical and romantic and just so pretty handsome The book was a really fun read, and I liked seeing the parallels and differences between this story and the original Beauty at the Beast It was really interesting to see the way the author incorporated so many familiar pieces of the original fairy tale, but then completely turned other parts on their head in a very refreshing way.The romance was cute, and I liked their chemistry, but I m not a big romance person so I imagine other people would like this eventhan I did I especially liked the magical feel to this writing and the world, it was fun trying to figure out what was reality and what was magic just messing with them I love books that make me question reality, and this definitely managed to do that at times I wish there would have been a littleworldbuilding, but it took a bit of a backseat to the romance That sof a personal preference though, as someone who s not into romance but likes heavy worldbuilding The magic system also wasn t really explained, and I m a curious person who loves knowing stuff like that I did really enjoy the worldbuilding that we did get, the visual descriptions were really well done, I just would have liked evenof this The main reason this is a 4 star instead of 5 for me is because a big part of the ending felt a little out of left field I wish certain things would have been set up a little better or even hinted at a little stronger, unless I was just so captivated by everything that I completely missed the hints, which is also possible but it didn t really fit the rest of the story for me Overall this was a beautiful and magical story and a very enjoyable read, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves fairy tales and magic and romance
